Well this winter/spring I landed some of my biggest lake run browns of my life! I landed a pair of 14lbers this year, and many others smaller ones. Rock worm nymph took on of the 14lbers, and a streamer took the other. Here are a few pic. Anyone else have any luck with these big browns?

Wow, you had an absolutely fantastic season fof brown trout! I'm very impressed and maybe a little jealous too! You are really doing great for a young guy. Did you learn to fly fish from your Dad or one of his friends or have you just gotten interested in it and picked it up yourself.

Mine telling me what river you have been fishing? If you want to keep it off the Internet you could send me a private message.

Thanks!! I learned to fly fish on my own. I did a lot of research on the internet, watched a lot of videos, spent tons of hours on the water, and got a lot of help from other fishermen. It has been a blast and I won't ever go back to anything else!

Well done, young man! It's terrific seeing young anglers taking up the sport and showing up some of us "old farts" ;oD

Nice looking fish!

No matter how big the one you just caught is, there's always a bigger one out there somewhere...

Its nice to see im not the only young kid on the forum who loves lake run browns and steelhead as much as I do as you can see in my post "a end to steelheading". I also taught myself to fly fish and this is my first year really getting into it. Nice fish and good luck on the water.
