Oscoda, MI Posts: 2611 | Also known as Lane Drain, what was nothing more than an open agricultural Drain when I was a child, has evolved over a half-century into a complex of functional stream habitats, by itself with no interference by man. Sadly, the water quality is probably much worse than all this habitat indicates, due to both residential & highway run-off...but it is still remarkable that such nice habitats can exist in the middle of a highly urbanized stream. Next step, maybe a biological evaluation on my own? Got about everything I need, tho it's mostly boxed up in the garage... Jonathon | |
